Understanding the Oboe Reed by Graham Salter, with an American contribution by Elaine Douvas & Linda Strommen is packed full of detailed information accompanied by explanatory images. Included are 115 superb coloured images of reeds of great oboists from Antonoi Paculli to Guy Legere along with 82 interviews, measurements, techniques & philosophies of these great musicians. An amazing reference and a fabulous gift for the oboe connoisseur.
Book is mostly fine, but came in with the cover peeling a bit. Spine and everything else is in good shape.

Great cane for the right purpose
This is quite heavily profiled cane and really only wants the tip finishing, which results in quite a soft and bright reed, though it can be darkened with wire placement/shape. I really like this cane and use it for 2nd bassoon playing as its best for quiet and/or mid to low range playing. Excellent service.

The reeds are great but the delay in receiving them due to customs demand for payment meant I did not receive the reeds for my concert despite paying extra for faster shipping
Although very pleased with the quality of your reed, I was not happy at having to pay 13 euros in customs charges to my local post office. Maybe you can find a way around this.
